The building project

Help us build a new church in Nazareth

Our growing congregation gathers in the pastor’s basement. Help us build a permanent church and community space where people can worship, pray and find belonging for generations to come.

Where we are today

Grateful for a basement, but it is not enough

At the moment, our church community gathers in the pastor’s basement because we do not yet have a dedicated church building.

While we are grateful for the space we have, it is not suitable for a growing congregation, nor for the activities and community support we hope to provide. Space is tight, access is difficult for older members, and there is nowhere for children to be children.

  • A growing congregation with nowhere left to seat people
  • No accessible entrance for elderly and disabled members
  • No dedicated rooms for children’s activities or counselling
  • No suitable store for the food and clothing we distribute

What we are building

A home for worship, prayer and service

We are working toward building a new church and community space in Nazareth that will serve Christians for years to come: a place for worship, prayer, children’s activities, fellowship, and serving families in need.

  • Worship hall

Room for our whole congregation to gather, with space to grow.

  • Prayer room

A quiet place for prayer, counselling and pastoral care.

  • Children’s rooms

Safe, dedicated space for Sunday school and youth activities.

  • Fellowship area

Where the church family shares meals, tea and life together.

  • Outreach store

Space to receive, sort and prepare food, clothing and winter supplies.

  • Accessible entrance

Step-free access so that elderly and disabled members can join us easily.

How it will happen

One step at a time

Building in Nazareth takes patience, permits and prayer. Contributions are gathered step by step for each part of the work.

  1. Land and permits

Securing the plot and the approvals needed to build in the city.

  2. Construction

Building the worship hall, rooms and outreach store.

  3. Furnishing and opening

Seating, sound, kitchen, children’s furnishings, and opening the doors.

For the most recent progress, costs and how you can help us take the next step, please write to us. We will gladly share the details.

Why it matters

A lasting home for a small and ancient Christian community

Christians in Israel and the Palestinian territories are a minority of the minority: some of the oldest Christian communities in the world, in the land where our faith began.

A church building here is more than architecture. It is a place where a community stays, where children are baptised and taught, where the elderly are visited, and where families in need find food, clothing and dignity.

Your support can help us care for families today and build a home for our Christian community for the future.
